Job Title: Construction Inspector
Location: Arlington, Virginia

Hours: 10pm - 5am
System One is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to support the night shift operations for the ongoing construction of the new entrance at Crystal City Station . The inspector will play a critical role in monitoring contractor activities to ensure compliance.
Conduct nightly inspections of station construction activities , including structural, electrical, and systems-related work .
Ensure contractor work complies with authority design standards, local building codes, and safety regulations.
Monitor and document progress, deficiencies, materials, and work quality.
Coordinate with authority's project managers, safety personnel, and contractors to resolve issues in real-time.
Complete detailed nightly reports, including photos and field observations.
Verify that appropriate certifications, safety signage, and access protocols are in place.
Prior project experience strongly preferred, especially in station upgrades, systems, or structural work .
Knowledge of construction standards , inspection procedures, and safety protocols.
Active certifications from relevant local agencies (e.g., ICC, NICET, OSHA 30, or local jurisdictional requirements).
Availability for night shift work on a consistent basis.
Strong written documentation and field communication skills.
