As we continue our rapid growth and global expansion, we are seeking a Director of People who will design and implement strategies that foster a high performing, engaged, and inclusive team aligned with Bandit’s core values and hyper-speed growth goals.

About this opportunity:

The Director of People is a critical role on Bandit’s core leadership team. This person will build out and lead the People function, ensuring our culture, people practices, and processes enable us to attract, retain, and develop the best people in the industry

Requirements

  • Build and lead all People practices across the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, employee experience, learning & development, performance management, and total rewards
  • Serve as a key partner to the leadership team on all people matters, including organizational design, growth and expansion, building high performance teams, compensation, and change management
  • Leverage and elevate Bandit’s culture and values, ensuring they are reflected in policies and everyday practices
  • Architect and maintain a best-in-class employee lifecycle, from hiring to onboarding to development and retention, across HQ and retail
  • Establish metrics and systems to measure employee engagement, performance, and engagement, and use data to inform decisions and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices while maintaining employee-centric approach

The experience you have:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in People/HR leadership, with at least 3 years in a senior People/HR role
  • Proven success in building and scaling People functions in a high-growth, fast-paced, entrepreneurial and startup environment
  • Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employee relations, talent acquisition, and organizational development
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement creative, effective strategies that align with business goals and growth
  • Strong business acumen and a collaborative, empathetic leadership style
  • Rolling up sleeves and jumping in at all-hands-on-deck moments, no task is too small
