Under general direction from the Director of the Analysis, Measurement, and Accountability Reporting Division (AMARD), the Education Research and Evaluation Administrator I manages professional, technical, and analytical staff in the Data Access and Strategy Office (DASO). The DASO staff serve as liaisons between programs, offices, and divisions for data related issues impacted by policies and system design. The office provides policy and technical expertise of existing data and practices to align data collections, documentation, and meet mandated reporting requirements. TELEWORK OPTION
HYBRID
This position is headquartered in Sacramento and may be eligible for a hybrid telework schedule for eligible applicants residing in California. A hybrid telework schedule includes working remotely and physically reporting to the office.
In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
•Knowledge of and experience in analyzing educational data
•Experience in providing policy expertise related to data, including data literacy and the development of accessible data reports
•Excellent organizational/communication skills and ability to work in a cooperative, team-oriented, agile environment
•Ability to work effectively under pressure and successfully meet deadlines
