Our client is locally owned and conducts full fabrication and mobile welding services, Aluminum welding, equipment welding, stainless welding, equipment welding, and custom fabrication. Will be driving company truck, must have a clean driving record, and Needs to be a self-starter and motivated, There will be times when you are working alone in the shop or field. The fieldwork is mostly at a farmer’s field location.
Pay: Depends on Experience Weekly Pay.
Work Schedule : Hours vary depending on the workload, must be able to work some weekdays past 6 pm. Winter hours are usually 8 am-6 pm, Summer hours are 8 am – varies. Depending on job and demand, and will work overtime on some Saturdays through the spring and summer.
Experience with:
Responsibilities:
– 2 welding rigs available, will need to put basic tools on the truck and be responsible for mobile repairs
– Be proficient in irrigation pipe fitting/welding. We do pump and pivot tie-ins.
-farm equipment welding/repair. From a cracked disc frame to loader lift arms, farm bed mounts, and more.
– Remove and replace bearings, shafts, etc.
· Welding processes will be stick and mig; uphill ability a plus
· Stainless experience is helpful but not required. General stainless projects, no sanitary
· Have most of your tools: examples- pipe wrap, wrenches up to 2”, socket set, impact, welding clamps, levels, square.
· Be safety conscious. Must wear safety glasses, use grinder guards, etc.
· Be on time to work
. Operate forklift
Must have a Valid driver’s license and your ride to and from work. You will need to drive the company service truck to and from some jobs .
