OFFICE TECHNICIAN (TYPING) (PERMANENT FULL TIME) – NORTH COAST REDWOODS DISTRICT / REDWOODS COAST SECTOR / ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES

The reporting location for this position is 1111 Second Steet Crescent City, CA 95531.  This position will work under the general direction of the Administrative Officer I and is a member of the District Administrative Team. The Office Technician will perform a wide variety of difficult non-supervisory clerical assignments. The incumbent will work individually and as a team member to provide assistance to the staff in the Redwood Coast Sector. The incumbent will utilize various computer applications that will be used to process invoices, accounting documents, time sheets, contracts and budgets. Receive, screen and direct incoming telephone calls to the appropriate staff and provide visitor information and sell park passes on a daily basis.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.

Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.
