Description The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a part-time Psychologist II to join the UCLA Insomnia Clinic. The Clinic provides behavioral treatments for insomnia that do not involve medications. Primary duties include: + Running therapy sessions using cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) + Writing and reviewing intake notes to formulate each individual case in preparation for sessions + Evaluating progress of each patient based on sleep diary, self-report questionnaires, homework, and clinical interactions + Communicating with patients in between therapy sessions regarding clinical and administrative issues + Occasionally providing supervision to practicum trainees, pre-doc interns and postdoc fellows + Updating electronic medical records system Please note, this is a 11 month limited position that may convert to career Salary range: $60.11/hr - $79.30/hr Qualifications PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology Valid CA Psychology license Minimum 2 year of post-doc experience in psychology Previous experience with insomnia patients Previous experience with CBT-I Previous clinical supervision experience (preferred) Strong computer skills including word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic medical records Ability to collaborate and work both independently and as part of a team Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing UCLA Health welcomes all individuals, without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin or disabilities, and we proudly look to each person's unique achievements and experiences to further set us apart.
