Job Title: New & Used Vehicle Title Clerk Department: Accounting Reports To: Controller Pay: $19 to $21/hour based on experience We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to come join our Automotive Accounting team here in Decatur, Illinois. This is a busy but fun environment to work in. This position will require the following qualities: Organization, detail-oriented, and a willingness to learn. SUMMARY

The Title Clerk processes all paperwork for registration and titling with the Department of Motor Vehicles for the New & Used Vehicle Departments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Order license plate inventory from the tax office.
• Process all necessary documents for registration and titling of new/used vehicles.
• Issue license plates and registration stickers to customers.
• Issue checks to the tax office for title work.
• Research DMV deficiency correspondence.
• Reconcile sales tax & license/title schedules
• Cross-train with billing retail deals and packaging bank contracts.
• Cross-train with dealer trade & wholesale transactions.
• Work hours 8am to 5pm with an hour lunch.
